During the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Flint River Soil and Water Conservation District and Flint River Fresh are committed to continuing to serve our communities by providing fresh, safe produce to our most at-risk neighbors while maintaining the health and safety of our team, committed volunteers, and surrounding community. Flint River Fresh Extends Produce Box Program in Response to COVID-19 Pandemic
Flint River Fresh has announced a minimum two week extension to the Produce Box Pilot Program launched April 4th in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The initial 14-day long pilot program was extended after positive feedback and additional support from local businesses. Community Garden Maintenance Protocol
Flint River Fresh and Flint River Soil and Water Conservation District will work with local governments and partners to identify organizations or communities in need for produce distribution from community garden harvests. The CDC and USDA are not aware of any reports at this time that illness is passed through food or food packaging. At this critical time especially, community gardens offer an important resource for health and resiliency in our most at-risk and impacted communities. Farm Stand Safety Protocol
Flint River Fresh and Flint River Soil and Water Conservation District will work with local

The Community Farm Stand allows other local farmers space and expanded opportunity to provide and sell produce directly in the community. The CDC and USDA are not aware of any reports at this time that illness is passed through food or food packaging. At this critical time especially, community gardens offer an important resource for health and resiliency in our most at-risk and impacted communities.
